Overview

About this land

Satra Kintamani Land is a 10,240 m² parcel in Desa Satra, Kintamani, in the cool western uplands of Bangli regency. This side of Kintamani is quiet farming country, known for its arabica coffee. Kintamani coffee was the first product in Indonesia to be registered as a Geographical Indication. The Batur caldera and Pura Ulun Danu Batur lie around 10 km to the east.

The land sits in a green hillside valley that is often wrapped in highland mist. It has its own natural spring with a high flow of water. Coffee, clove and avocado trees are already established, and tree ferns and forest cover the surrounding slopes.

Much of the groundwork is already in place. Garden paths, terraced slopes and stone steps run across the site, and a traditional Balinese spring garden sits at its heart.

The setting suits a low-density, nature-led concept, such as a wellness or meditation retreat or an agro-tourism experience built around the spring and the coffee garden.

The parcel is reached by a village road that cars can use, with space to park on site. It lies roughly 36 km north of Ubud and 64 km from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, measured in a straight line.
